Update:  Yes, we got to the bacon place AND GOT A PORK PRODUCTS TOUR!  The owner’s son helped us and was amazed when Mom told him how we came to be there and that his bacon was famous in (a small part) of New York City.  Mom has lots of pictures of pig pieces in and out of the smoke house.  They’re behind on deliveries because the smokehouse caught on fire a couple of weeks ago and it took a week to get a new roof on and get back to smoking.  The floor IS a little slippery.  We’re camped  in a beautiful campground on the shore of Tellico Reservoir, a TVA reservoir SSW of Knoxville, Tenn.  Tomorrow on to Memphis.
