It begins

(cue music) : (cue Willie) : “On the road again, da da da da daa, road again…..”  We left around 9:15 this morning, down the Thruway and I-287 to I-78 and on to I-81.  Yes, we shouted “HI” to the Bowermans as we passed Bethlehem, PA.  We’re camped at Battle of Cedar Creek Campground in Middleton, VA, near Front Royal and the beginning of the Skyline Drive.  We had rain all afternoon, a theme that will continue for a while.  Tomorrow we’ll do some touring around here, then meet Aunt Pat and Uncle Joe for dinner.
